ExcursionsMaratea
Crossing the coast road from Sapri, we arrive in Maratea.
On the peak of Mount San Biagio, which overlooks the historic centre of the town, stands Christ the Redeemer, the tallest statue in Italy at 22 metres high. In addition, a particular optical effect makes it look like it is looking at the sea from afar, but instead it is looking towards the mountains of Lucania.
After the lunch break there will be a guided tour of the city to discover its wonderful landscape.
Departure is scheduled for 8 A.M. and return at 5 P.M. by G.T. bus with air conditioning.
